The Chassis
The 280 horsepower Dodge Ram ProMaster chassis gives the Solis a smooth and powerful ride while the exterior length of 19' 9'' allows for easy maneuverability. A towing capacity of 3,500 pounds allows you to bring along a toy (or two).
Lighting, Screens and the Solis Exterior Features
The porch light as well as driver and passenger side service lights will illuminate your campground and add security. Screens on both the side and the rear doors make for a great cross breeze while keeping the bugs out. At the rear door you will find a rod with a privacy screen that can also be used to hang clothes out to dry. The aluminum running board along the side makes an easy step up into the RV.
On the roof is a 220-watt, flexible solar panel to keep things powered up even if you decide to go off the grid. The water hook-up is just inside the rear door and has a place for an exterior wash station. The easy to read freshwater sight glass helps you keep an eye on the water level. The Solis is built with premium ceiling to floor insulation that helps regulate the temperature inside and minimize road noise. Zippered, air-barrier window coverings help with the temperature regulation and provide privacy when camping.
Solis Cabin Features
The cabin is designed for comfort and functionality. The steering wheel controls for the radio and cruise control are right at your fingertips. A 5-inch LCD color touch screen features trip information, rear view camera and radio options. The captain chair is multipurpose as it can slide, recline, and swivel all the way around to become seating for the living area. With the interior height of 6' 2'' and a wide aisle-way, the Solis is surprisingly roomy inside. In the living area are two, automotive-grade seats, with 3-point seat belts for secure travel and feature space below for extra storage. A pedestal table provides a place to eat, converse or play games. The rear of the Solis is designed to be multifunctional. The padded bench can be utilized as a seating area with a drop-down table. When it's time to turn in for the evening, a murphy bed drops down to create a queen size bed.
Solis Pop-Up Sleeper Space
Directly above the pedestal table is where you will find access to the pop-up sleeper area. Easily lift the top into place by releasing the latch and pushing up. A two-piece ladder fits securely in place to give you access to the space, which comfortably sleeps two. There are windows on both the sides and front of the space that can easily be unzipped for light and ventilation.
