How To Video: Rooftop AC

 

Have a rooftop AC unit? Here's how you operate it.

- The thermostat and fan controls for this rooftop AC are right on the unit itself. The dial lever will turn on your fan speed and the dial lever beside it will change your temperature.

- If you do not want the compressor to come on but you do want some air blowing in the trailer, you can turn on 'fan only.'

- When you first get into your trailer and it's really hot, there is an option to turn on the 'dump.' This opens up the valve and allows your air to blow right through the general area of your galley to cool down the RV quicker.

- Once your trailer is at a comfortable temperature, close the dump vent.
