Labor Day Festivals, end of summer is the perfect time for RVers to hit the road and meet fellow travelers who have the same hobbies and love of all things festival. Labor Day is the perfect long weekend to hop in your RV, rev up the engine and hit the road for a food, drink or Jazz festival! Wherever you are in the USA, there is a Labor Day festivity waiting for you. Check out the holiday festivals across the U.S. that you won't want to miss out on.

FOR THE RVER IN THE NORTHEAST REGION:

*Rhythm and Roots Music, Dance and Food Festival in Charleston, Rhode Island will check all of the boxes for a fantastic weekend at Ninigret Park.

*The Made in America Festival in Philadelphia was founded by Jay-Z and is a weekend full of R&B, Hip Hop, EDM and Alternative music. Along with fantastic artists, you will find carnival rides, interactive activities and lots of food and drink.

* While in Pennsylvania, check out the Forrest Hills Labor Day Fest. Free admission will allow you to enjoy a weekend of music, arts and crafts, food, games, bingo and fireworks. You can't beat a weekend like that for the family!

*A little further south, head to Washington D.C. for the DC Jazz Fest. Not only will you be able to enjoy the Jazz Fest, but the Nation's Capital is the best place to experience everything America, as well as the National Book Festival. Something for everyone to enjoy!

 



 

FOR THE RVER IN THE SOUTH REGION:

*Head south to Hendersonville, North Carolina for the NC Apple Festival. You will enjoy all things apple all weekend here.

*If you are in the South and are a classic car lover, head to Crupin, South Carolina for the Crupin Labor Day Festival and Parade.

*For those looking for Jazz festivals in the South region, you have two options. First is the Atlanta Jazz Festival. Another option is the Pensacola Gulf Coast Jazz Fest Edition. Labor Day weekend is the culmination of a summer of Jazz fun in Pensacola.

*Looking for a mountain getaway for cooler weather, head to Nashville (TN) Shores for Labor Day Weekend. There the family will enjoy concerts, waterparks and fireworks all weekend!

 



 

FOR THE RVER IN THE MIDWEST REGION:

*Another weekend dedicated to classic car lovers is the Auburn Cord Dusenberg Festival and Classic Car Show in Auburn, Indiana.

*The Choctaw Labor Day Festival in Durant, OK will focus on Choctaw culture with gourd dancing, princess pageants, sporting tournaments, vendor booths and more.

*Chicago, IL is the host city for many festivities over Labor Day weekend. A few highlights are the Southeast Side Parade, Fireworks over Navy Pier and Lake Michigan and the Jazz Festival on Saturday, September 4.

*If you are in the mood for music other than Jazz, head south to Grapeland, TX for the Salmon Lake Park 45^th Annual Labor Day Bluegrass Festival.

*A fantastic resource for all festivals in the Midwest is Ohio Festivals. They do the research and you can find all goings on Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky!

 



 

FOR THE RVER IN THE WEST REGION:

*If you are in the Northwest and want to whet your whistle for the weekend, steer your RV to Bend, OR for the Little Woody Barrel Aged Beer, Cider and Whiskey Festival. Your palate will love you with delicious tastes from all over the Pacific Northwest. This festival runs Friday and Saturday, September 3-4.

*If you are more into the arts, Portland, OR hosts the Art in the Pearl Fine Arts and Crafts Festival. This festival is FREE and it has been named one of the Top 10 art festivals in the country.

*If you head down the famed Highway 1 along the Pacific coast, you may find yourself in Napa valley, CA and the Bottle Rock Napa Valley Music Festival. Here you will find phenomenal artists like the Foo Fighters, Guns N Roses, Stevie Nicks and so many more. With multiple stages and genres of music, I would consider this a bucket list item!

*Continue south down scenic Highway 1to Cambria, CA. Here will find a small town parade and classic car show at the Pinedorado Festival. This festival began in 1949 and the festival got its name during the first festival, as Cambria is set amongst the pine trees of California's Central Coast.

*For those who prefer the sunshine of southern California, the Orange International Street Fair has everything you could want. From live entertainment, food, drinks and crafts, there is something for all ages.
